Original Marco Evaristi painting for sale. In 2004, Evaristti traveled to Greenland armed with red food coloring with the intention of establishing a provisional Pink State by painting an iceberg red in Ilulissat Icefjord, Greenland. That year, the ice fjord had just been added to UNESCO's World Natural Heritage List and was also the subject of discussion about environmentally caused climate change. Marco Evaristti was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, Denmark 1987-1994.
