Original Siri Gindesgaard painting for sale. The painting is about the 21-year-old Sophia Scholl, who was a German student and political activist in 1943. She was a member of the White Rose resistance group in Nazi Germany. She was arrested by the Gestapo and convicted of high treason after distributing anti-war leaflets at the University of Munich with her brother. The siblings were executed by guillotine in 1943. Siri Gindesgaard is a trained visual arts teacher at the Kerteminde Teachers' Seminary, Denmark 1993-1996 and Aarhus Art Academy, Denmark 2006-2007.
