Emma Uldum
Emma Uldum was born in 2001 in Herning, Denmark. When she draws, it is done impulsively and with a guided hand. Thus, her works are a kind of fragmented snapshots that reflect her own state of mind. With her mysterious and sometimes gloomy universe, it is her artistic vision to express moods and emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words.
"When I draw, I almost never have an idea of what exactly I want to do before I start. I try as much as possible to let my subconscious work when I sketch, I think that often results in slightly more interesting images.
I'm very inspired by feelings that don't make sense in my head. I often find it very difficult to put into words what I feel, and therefore find great freedom in translating it into a visual expression.”
