Original Ian McLean painting. Proveniens Galleri Christian Dam, Copenhagen. Ian McLean was one of the emerging British artists who redefined figurative painting in the 1990s. His paintings are sparse but not empty, and many of the works are based on portraits of two women – including his girlfriend. Ian McLean was educated at Goldsmiths University, London 1992-1996.
